This is a great recipe for a weekend breakfast in today’s busy life, a weekend to just sit back, eat good food, and hangout with your special someone or kids to find out what they did during their busy week; Especially your teens, this is just the recipe to catch up. So let me introduce you to a mouthful of this little rapid recipe for good old fashion dense waffles. The kids will love them and the prep time is 20 mins all the more to make them.

This receipe can even be made up ahead of time and batter can be kept 2-3 days in the fridge, beat batter before cooking.

2 cups of all purpose flour
3 tsp of magic baking powder
1/2 tsp of salt
2 eggs separated
1 1/4 cup of milk
6 tbsp of melted vegetable shortening
Steps 1, 2, 3 and waffle batter!
1.) Blend flour, baking powder and salt together set aside.
2.) Mix egg yolks with milk and add to the dry ingredients.
3.) Beat egg white till soft peaks form and add warm vegetable shorting blend all ingredients together and your ready to fire up your waffle maker.
